The Oberoi Mumbai is an iconic hotel, set on Marine Drive, a scenic coastal boulevard that lines Mumbai's south side. After a two-year renovation, the Oberoi Mumbai has three new restaurants including Ziya, serving contemporary Indian cuisine headed by Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia. Vetro, the Italian Restaurant decorated with coloured glass panels is supervised by the chef at Rome’s Hassler Hotel. There is also a Champagne lounge and bar for pre-dinner cocktails or a nightcap. For relaxation, there is Oberoi Spa offering Ayurvedic and Thai massage treatments or relax in the outdoor pool.
Stay The Oberoi Mumbai offers 214 Rooms and 73 Suites. All are adorned with specially-commissioned paintings and lithographs, dark oak floors and walnut furniture in contemporary lines, and touches of silk in the upholstery. Punctuating it all are picture windows that frame the expansive Arabian Sea views. All the rooms have spacious bathrooms with freestanding bathtub, a separate shower and state-of-the-art amenities with a personalised butler service.
ChildCare Families with children are very welcome to stay at The Oberoi Mumbai but there are no specific facilities available for them. Babysitting can be arranged upon request.
Dine Three elegant restaurants offer diverse dining options at The Oberoi Mumbai. Enjoy some of the best Indian cuisine in town at the Ziya restaurant with a menu designed by the Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia. Feast on Italian specialties at Vetro, supervised by the chefs at Rome’s Hassler Hotel. There is also an all-day dining space, the Champagne Lounge, a patisserie, a delicatessen and the chic Eau Bar.
Relax For relaxation the Spa at the Oberoi Mumbai is a treat, open 24-hours it has six therapy rooms offering Ayurvedic treatment and Thai massages. There is also a hair and beauty salon, a pedicure room, and a temperature controlled outdoor swimming pool lined in sapphire blue ceramic tiles.
Experience Located within walking distance of the Oberoi Mumbai is the impressive Gateway of India modelled on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Other interesting sites include Church Gate, one of the three entrances to the centuries old Bombay castle, Flora Fountain, Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, and the Haji Ali Mosque. One day take charter a yacht to enjoy a sundowner at sea or experience rickshaw ride through Bollywood hills and visit the artsy district of Kala Ghoda neighbourhood.

Getting there 9-hour flight to Mumbai Chattrapathi Shivaji International Airport. The Oberoi is located 45-minutes from the International Airport.
When to go Generally, the best time to visit Mumbai is between October to April when the relative humidity in the air is low. In the months of August and September Mumbai celebrates its biggest festival the Ganesh Chaturthi when massive idols of the divine figures are carried to the sea beaches where they are submerged. The event is a spectacle of true Indian culture that no one should miss. It is best to avoid the monsoon months (June to September) while planning a trip to Mumbai.
