Mihir Garh, Khandi, Nr Jodhpur, Rajasthan | Luxury Holidays in India | AsianGeographicalAdventures.com

Mihir Garh is a luxurious boutique hotel, set on the wide open sandy plains of Marwar, south of Jodhpur. The breath-taking beauty of a sacred dune, dedicated to the local warrior God, became a childhood inspiration to Sidharth and later a dream project with his wife Rashmi. Today, this place in the wilderness celebrates the rich culture of Marwar.

Situated about an hour’s drive from Jodphur, Mihir Garh offers just nine enormous suites set over two floors. Each suite features regal décor with huge separate sitting areas, comfortable bedrooms furnished with antique furniture and private Jacuzzi's or plunge pools and each room commanding a spectacular view. Dining options include both continental and Indian cuisine and the rates include local spirits, soft drinks and one jeep safari.

The architectural design of Mihir Garh includes numerous alcoves, lounges and common areas with spectacular views to provide intimate areas to relax. In addition, there is a sun terrace, a main swimming pool and a spa with two massage rooms, steam and sauna rooms. Activities include horse safaris into the desert countryside with horses provided by their own stable. Other activities include camel or jeep safaris and visits to Bishnoi tribal villages. You can also take a day tour to Jodhpur.
