YOUR FINANCIAL PROTECTION
Package Travel Regulations (PTRs): These regulations exist to protect consumer funds in the event of insolvency. Updated regulations were implemented on July 1st, 2018. A package holiday consists of a pre-arranged combination of two or more different types of travel services, such as transport (flights, trains, coaches, and motor vehicles), accommodation, and any other tourist services not ancillary to transport or accommodation and accounting for a significant proportion of the package, sold or offered for sale at an inclusive price. The service should either exceed twenty-four hours or include overnight accommodation. Packages without flights should be compliant with Package Travel Regulations. Packages with flights also require ATOL protection.
PROTECTION OF TRAVEL SERVICES WITHOUT FLIGHTS:
We provide full financial protection through Protected Trust Services (PTS) (www.protectedtrustservices.com), an FCA registered company, to ensure trust and confidence when you book your travel services with us. PTS offers all member companies a trust account and insurance model that ensures all consumer money is fully protected. With PTS, holidays offered by Asian Geographical Partners Ltd are fully compliant with Package Travel Regulations. If any traveller wishes to check our membership with PTS prior to booking or has concerns about the allocation of their funds and services supplied, they can simply contact PTS directly for peace of mind. When you buy a package holiday that does not include a flight, protection is provided through a Trust Account held by Protected Trust Services, 307-315 Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH8 8BX. PROTECTION OF TRAVEL SERVICES INCLUDING FLIGHTS:
Our package holidays (flights, tours, and accommodation) are protected under our ATOL Licence (12209), issued by the Civil Aviation Authority, Gatwick Airport South, West Sussex, RH6 0YR, UK, telephone 0333 103 6350, email claims@caa.co.uk. When you buy an ATOL protected holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you, and who to contact if things go wrong. We will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative).
In some cases, where we are unable to do so due to unlikely reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances, the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations, and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases, it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable). If we are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for the unlikely reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme.
