All are spacious in size, starting at 79 sqm with polished wooden floors, high ceiling and picture windows overlooking the forested hills. Experience Madikeri is a hill town in Western Ghats of southern Karnataka. Taj Madikeri Resort can arrange day tours to see the city highlights including the 17th-century Madikeri Fort that feature two stone elephants at the entrance. The ancient Omkareshwara Temple dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva and Abbey Falls cascading down the rocky slopes into a pool. When to go Isolated from much of India by the Western Ghats, the climate of Kerala & Karnataka is tropical. The best time to visit is from January through to April. Summer is hot and humid; the monsoon season arrives in early June and lasts till August. While September can be dry and humid. There can be a little rain in October and November, cooling off around December and lasting until February.
