Evolve Back Kabini is a wildlife resort, set along the Kabini river that runs between the Nagarhole and the Bandipur National Parks in southern Karnataka. Bandipur National Park harbours Indian elephants, spotted deer, gaurs (bison), antelopes and numerous other native species while Nagarhole National Park, backed by the Brahamagiri Mountains is home to tigers, Asian elephants and a variety of birds. Overlooking the serene Kabini River, Evolve Back Kabini resort offers 37 cottages. Inspired by Hadis (tribal villages), each have thatched roofs with adobe walls and large verandas overlooking its inner courtyard with Jacuzzi or a pool. Inside, the cottages have spacious sitting and bedrooms with plush beds and modern bathrooms. The main public areas are expansive and relaxing, offering two restaurants with a bar and infinity swimming pool overlooking the lake.
Guests at the Evolve Back Kabini can take game drives, conducted either by boat or by jeep. Both the parks are home to leopards, tigers, Asian elephants, spotted deer, gaurs (bison), antelopes and a variety of birds, including numerous water birds. The resort is located close to local tribal villages with bullock carts and dhoti clad farmers. One day, take a journey into one of these villages and learn about their daily life and understand their culture for an authentic cultural experience.

Stay Evolve Back Kabini offers just 37 cottages in two styles; Pool Hut or Jacuzzi Hut. All have thatched roofs with adobe walls, exposed wooden beams and posts. Inside, the huts are incredibly spacious and come with a comfortable living room, bedroom and large bathroom with twin vanity sinks, as well as a private courtyard with either a Jacuzzi or plunge pool. Expect polished cemented floors, period style furniture and four-poster beds with fine linen, and draped in colourful spreads.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at Evolve Back Kabini resort. There is a Children's Activity Centre featuring table tennis, board games, art materials and where children films are also shown. In the surrounds are open spaces with interesting flora and fauna and the resident elephant, Meenakshi, who you can take off for a bath in the river or ride through the local villages.
Dine For dining, there are two restaurantsat the Evolve Back Kabini resort; Honey Comb, offers delicious regional, Indian and international cuisine in an informal buffet setting overlooking the River Kabini and Karuba Grill, where kebabs and grilled meats are served. Meals can be taken in the dining room or al fresco and there is also a well-stocked bar. A range of intimate romantic dining experiences are available, including candle-lit river cruise on a traditional wooden boat.
Relax Facilities at Evolve Back Kabini include a scenic reading lounge, a board room and an infinity pool designed to relax your body. There is also a traditional Ayurvedic spa with treatments that range from simple rejuvenation massage to therapeutic treatments, supervised by a team of Doctors and Therapists. In the surrounds is an interesting flora and fauna, home to rich birdlife and perfect for leisurely nature walks.

Location Evolve Back Kabini is situated in the heart land of the Kadukuruba tribe of Nagarhole forest and surrounded on three sides by the Kabini river, near Bheeramballi Village at a distance of 245 Kms from Bangalore by road, via Mysore.
Getting there Fly to Bangalore International Airport. Orange County is 280km from Bangalore, a journey of approximately 5-hours.
When to go Isolated from much of India by the Western Ghats, the climate of Kerala & Karnataka is tropical. The best time to visit is from January through to April. Summer is hot and humid; the monsoon season arrives in early June and lasts till August. While September can be dry and humid. There can be a little rain in October and November, cooling off around December and lasting until February.
