Pashan Garh Lodge is located near Panna National Park in Madhya Pradesh. It forms part of the tiger reserve circuit created by andBeyond and the Taj group, joining other comfortable lodges in surrounding parks. The lodge, infused with local sandstone is furnished and block printed black silks and cotton lace chandeliers creates a contemporary look of local ‘Haveli’ or private mansion with a sense of sanctuary and coolness.
Accommodation in Pashan Garh Lodge features 12 luxury cottages of stone walls and tiled roofs surrounded with scrub jungle. The spacious rooms have glass walled bathrooms with views of the forest. The interior design has just enough attention to detail to make you feel special and make others feel envious. On the terrace, the maachan (roof-top space to rest in the Indian summer) is embellished with a racy pottery design inspired by the temples of nearby Khajuraho.
The main guest areas at the Pashan Garh Lodge include an infinity swimming pool perched over the rocky outcrop. Safaris are conducted by experts trained by andBeyond. Breakfast is generally in the park, lunches under a huge mahua tree or veranda. In the evenings, the camp takes on a romantic cast, when candles and lamps are lit around the dining area. Dinner, as in all Taj properties is wonderfully crafted with different takes on traditional Indian classics.

Location Pashan Garh Lodge is located near the Panna National Park and lies close to the Khajuraho temples. Although the Panna National Park is known for abundance of wildlife, it is not primarily a tiger reserve. Those seeking to view a tiger can combine Pashan Garth with safari lodges in the Bandhavgarh National Park.
Getting There Most major airlines fly to India’s main airports. Delhi is the best point of arrival for Rajasthan and north India. There are daily flights from Delhi and Varanasi to Khajuraho, which is the nearest airport. The drive from Khajuraho to Pashan Garh takes approximately an hour.
When to go The park remains closed between July and 15 October due to monsoon. The best time to travel to India is between September and March. The best time to visit the Panna National Park is between January to May. The winter months of Nov-Dec-Jan is best for bird watching and is usually the preferred time for the foreign tourists but wildlife photographer’s like to visit during the summer months between February and April or May when sighting tiger is easier.
