Around this are 214 rooms and 73 suites, contemporary in décor and sleek with the latest mod-cons. All rooms have dark oak flooring, plush beds with fine linen and beautiful walnut furnishings. En-suite bathrooms have standalone bathtubs and windows afford unparalleled views across the sea.
After a two-year renovation, the Oberoi Mumbai has three new restaurants including Ziya, serving contemporary Indian cuisine headed by Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia. Vetro, the Italian Restaurant decorated with coloured glass panels is supervised by the chef at Rome’s Hassler Hotel. There is also a Champagne lounge and bar for pre-dinner cocktails or a nightcap.
