Stay 

Tanjore Hi features just 14 air-conditioned rooms spread across two floors. All are individually designed in minimalist, contemporary style with polished wooden floors, plush beds draped in fine linen and windows with folding shutters. The hotel’s trademark cobalt blue runs from its façade, through its corridors and rooms, showing mostly on floors, walls or bathrooms.

ChildCare 

Families with children are welcome to stay at Tanjore Hi, but there are no special facilities available for children. However, there is a small kid's club and babysitting service can be arranged, upon request.

Dine 

The rooftop Chola restaurant at Tanjore Hi serves traditional Tamil and Western cuisine using fresh, ingredients sourced from their two ecological farms certified by IMO Switzerland. All the bread, jam and pastries are homemade and meals are made-to-order, using as fresh and organic products. The restaurant also promotes healthy, Ayurvedic, Low Carb, Vegan and Gluten free food. Guests are welcome to speak with the chef for special meal requests. 

Relax 

There are plenty of spaces within Tanjore Hi to relax. The roof garden terrace serves beer and a small selection of wines from around the world. There is a high-speed internet and a garden to relax. 

Experience 

Tanjore (Thanjavur) was the capital of the Chola Kingdom between the 10th and 14th Centuries and became a major cultural centre. Located next to the historic Tanjore Palace, Tanjore Hi offers a perfect gateway to Tanjore and its many heritage sites to include Brihadisvara Temple, the Royal Palace Museum and the Thanjavur Maratha Palace. Not-to-be-missed are lecture demonstrations of Tanjavur and Bharatanatyam dances by proficient dancers.
