Vivanta By Taj - Fisherman's Cove is a heritage beachfront retreat, set about 38 kilometres (24 miles) south of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at Vivanta By Taj - Fisherman's Cove but there are no specific facilities available for children. Babysitting service can be arranged upon request.
Dine There are three dining options at the Fisherman's Cove, all offering a mix of traditional Indian flavours and modern cuisine. Overlooking the pool, is the Seagull restaurant serving a popular continental, Indian and Italian fare. Bay View offers an exquisite dining experience overlooking the beach and specialises in seafood and on occasions barbecue. For a taste of Mediterranean cuisine, hit the Upper Deck with stunning views of the Bay of Bengal.
Relax Facilities at Fisherman’s Cove include a fabulous outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre which offers yoga classes and Jiva Spa. For activity enthusiasts there are tennis and badminton courts, beach cricket, football and volleyball available. There is also a business centre and a souvenir shop.

Fisherman's Cove, located on the outskirts of the city provides both the luxury of enjoying the beach and easy access to the city. Location Fisherman’s Cove can be found 34 km south of the bustling city of Chennai in the region of Tamil Nadu. It is situated on the Covelong Beach and the 60km north of Mahabalipuram.
Getting there Fisherman’s Cove is a 10-hour international flight to Chennai International Airport, followed by a 34km car ride down the coast.
When to go The climate in southern India shows only slight seasonal variations. Temperatures and humidity remain relatively high all year round. Rainfall is common at any time of the year and the Monsoon Season has only marginally more precipitation than at any other time.
