Ani Villas is an exclusive estate comprising of two large villas, set near the small town of Dickwella, on Sri Lanka’s beautiful central south coast. Designed by renowned architects Reda Amalou and AW2 of Paris, it offers a stylish contemporary, hilltop accommodation with panoramic view of turquoise blue Indian ocean, rolling in among reefs and palm-studded, sandy beaches. This colossal all-inclusive villa, pampers guests on an epic scale that was once reserved for royals and celebrities.
Sitting atop a bluff, Ani Villas Sri Lanka is a large private estate, comprising of Villa Divia and Villa Monara. Each has an outdoor lounge and dining area, a beachfront pool with a bar and game facilities for adults and children. The villas’ architecture is based on the traditional layout of salas or open-air pavilions, with vaulted ceilings and wood columns, while the furnishings show a more modern style and the objects scattered throughout the living areas nod to local heritage.
Housed within the two Ani Villas are 15 suites. There are seven bedrooms in the Villa Divia complex and eight in the Villa Monara complex; each with a king-size or twin beds and en-suite bathroom. Guests stay here on a full-board basis which include a private top-class chef to make all meals and a team of staff including personal trainer, your own spa and children's activity coordinator. In the surrounds are some of the best beaches, wildlife national parks and historical places.
Stay Ani Villas comprises of 15 rooms spread out in two villas. To one side of the main building is Villa Monara, with eight-bedrooms and on the other side is Villa Divia with seven-bedrooms. Both villas are air-conditioned and have its own pool, living area complete with a fully stocked bar, TV room and an open-air pavilion with dining space. The estate building has an arrival pavilion, private spa, yoga pavilion, fitness centre and tennis and outdoor games court.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at Ani Villas. Villa Monara has 4 rooms with twin beds and Villa Divia has 3 rooms with twin beds. Each villa has a separate kids pool to one side, complete with a long water slide. Children can play table tennis or learn tennis or partake in exciting programmes organised by children's activity coordinator, which include cooking classes, village trekking, children’s yoga, cultural art classes and painting classes, plus many more.
Dine Ani Villas has a dedicated staff with a private top-class chef who will liaise with you to serve up an array of dishes as per your taste. Your stay includes full board catering plus premier spirits and house wines. Guests can take South Asian cooking classes with the executive chef as well as spa treatments. There is a personal trainer, tennis lessons, cycling tours, local walking tours and treks. Dirty laundry, no problem, it is included.
Relax There are plenty of spaces at Ani Villas to relax. Both the villas have a private pool. There is dedicated staff to serve cold drinks and cocktails to keep you hydrated. You can also have daily Ayurvedic treatments at the estate's private spa. Wake early for some yoga or meditation before a treatment followed by lunch and time lazing by the pool.
Experience The main focus of activities while staying at Ani Villas is on Dikwella on beach life and surfing. To the west is the historical site of Devinwara (city of gods) while west of Matara city are world-class beaches including Polhena Beach, surrounded by a natural reef, which is a great sea bathing spot. Other sites include leopard spotting safaris at the Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park, whale watching on the Indian Ocean and visiting local sea turtle hatcheries.

Location Ani Villas is located in the small village of Kaluketiya Watta, Dickwella. Dickwella is a small coastal town ion the South Coast of Sri Lanka close to Tangalle.
Getting there Fly into Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport. From there Ani Villas is a 3 - 4-hour drive away.
When to go Sri Lanka is a year-round destination with consistently warm temperatures and lots of sunshine. There are two monsoon seasons but they only bring rain to the west and south-west coasts from May to September; and the east coast and northern region between October and February. The rest of the year is sunny and dry but the months of December to April are probably the best time to visit. Colombo and the low-lying coastal regions have an average temperature of 27°C.
