Casa Heliconia is located on the perimeter of a farming village, with a stunning stupa and is surrounded by plantations. Guests can explore the neighbouring villages to see temples and stupas or take leisurely walks in the farmland. Birdwatchers can spend their day in the garden covered with fruit trees while activity enthusiasts can go biking in the surrounds. Further afield is Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where the island’s abandoned or orphaned wild elephants are protected.
