Belmond Napasai is a collection of boutique style properties, set on the northern shores of Thailand’s Koh Samui island. At its heart, are 54 villas plus 13 spacious private residences surrounded by bountiful tropical gardens with jasmine, frangipani and dotted with cashew and coconut trees. Built in contemporary Thai style with extensive use of teak wood and slopping terracotta tiled roofs, they are set on a hillside above the beach, providing wonderful views of the azure waters.
Facilities at the Belmond Napasai include two restaurants including an indoor restaurant serving delicious Thai cuisine, and a beachfront restaurant serving seafood. Leisure facilities include a large, 24-hour lagoon-shaped swimming pool and a well-equipped watersport centre, with complimentary hobbie cats, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks and windsurfing. There are also tennis and badminton courts, a gym, an outdoor boxing ring, a poolside pool table, a gorgeous yoga sky-deck and a spa.
Stay Belmond Napasai features 54 villas plus 13 spacious private residences, featuring two to five bedrooms and large private swimming pools. All are designed for maximum space, starting at more than 55 sqm, with contemporary Thai architecture, lashings of teak, vaulted ceilings and swirling fans. The Private Residences have the benefit of independent luxury accommodation with private pool and all the facilities and services of the hotel. The bathroom has a large closet, a desk/coiffeuse area and an oversized tub that combines as a rain shower with a window opening out on the beach.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Belmond Napasai. There’s a separate children's swimming pool and poolside gazebos with kids’ corner complete with PlayStation, games, a Wii, and a pool table. Babysitting service can be arranged, upon request.
Dine There are only two restaurants at the Belmond Napasai resort. The indoor Lai Thai restaurant, serving delicious Thai cuisine, and the outdoor beachfront restaurant, where seafood is the speciality. There are also two bars; the Infinity Eatery serves a mean cocktail to be enjoyed by the pool and the lobby bar is another great place for a cocktail while admiring the stunning view.
Relax Set above the beach, Belmond Napasai has a large lagoon-shaped swimming pool whose colour blends intricately with the tropical gardens around. The pool is lined with sun loungers, each of which has a push button to call the bar staff. There is also a gym, two tennis courts and library.
Experience Koh Samui is a beautiful island that can be explored by boat or on foot. Belmond Napasai can arrange a whole host of day trips including boat excursions to explore coves and take in the sparkling sea or head inland for a jungle trek. Visit the Ang Thong National Marine Park, home to many untouched islands with great snorkelling opportunities. Resort activities include non-motorised water sports such as hobie cats, kayaking, windsurfing, mountain biking, beach volleyball and tennis.

Location Napasai Beach Resort Hotel is a resort on Baan Tai beach near the town of Maenam in the north of Koh Samui, Thailand.
Getting there 11-hour international flight to Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport, followed by a 1-hour domestic flight to Koh Samui International Airport. Napasai is 20-minutes from the airport.
When to go Koh Samui has a tropical climate and the best time to visit is from February to September, which is relatively dry but there is some rain every month. February to April are the driest months. October to January are wet with the monsoon coming from the northeast across the Gulf of Thailand.
