Four Seasons Tented Camp

Four Seasons Tented Camp in the Golden Triangle is located in the Chiang Rai province of northern Thailand. Set amidst Thailand’s exotic bamboo jungles, the resort is accessible only by river boat. Scattered around these jungles are canvas-covered designer suites with wooden decks, large enough to host group dinners or cocktails.

There are just 15 tents at the Four Seasons Tented Camp in the Golden Triangle. All tents are spaced out for maximum privacy, stretching along the side of a forest-covered hill and connected via a bamboo-lined brick trail. Each tent is luxuriously complete with king-sized bed, a massive hand-hammered copper bathtub and an outdoor rain shower. Explorer's Lodge for families has two bedrooms comes with a spacious deck and outdoor pool.

The newly built Explorer's Lodge at the Four Seasons Tented Camp offers two bedrooms, spacious deck and outdoor pool, to relax and soak up the natural surroundings. All-inclusive three- or four-night adventures cover every detail, from all meals to excursions into the steamy rainforest and elephant training. There is an open-air spa just a short distance up the Ruak valley. In the evenings, The Burma Bar becomes a watering hole with nightly nature symphonies from the geckos, frogs and rare birds.

Take Elephant Mahout Training to interact and get comfortable with these gentle giants in their own natural habitat. Then, embark on an exploration of the jungle wilderness, wherein you guide your elephant with your newly acquired skills! Guests are invited to join the mahouts as they bathe the elephants in the river or pond, getting them ready for trekking.

One More Thing Spending time with these kind, majestic creatures leaves a lasting impression on everyone —yet, each guest’s experience is different. For some, it is an incredible adventure; for others, the interaction is spiritual and transformative; for yet others, it results in unforgettable friendships. Create your very own elephant experience.
