Six Senses Samui is a five-star luxury resort, set on the northeastern tip of the Koh Samui island, off the east coast of Thailand. Situated on a raised peninsular, isolated from the more mainstream tourist locations on the island, the resort has cleverly used its location to create an enhanced sense of privacy and privilege. Positioned on a jungle-covered promontory above the white sands of Choeng Mon, it offers stunning views of the surrounding Gulf of Siam and its outlying islands.
Flower-lined wooden walkways connect 66 newly refurbished villas. All are spacious, completely open plan, two level lofts, where one level features the swimming pool and daytime reclining area, and the upper level is dedicated to sleeping and bathing. Guests can choose between Dining on the Rocks on ten terraced decks of weathered teak and bamboo, or on the hill in casual Thai huts. Activities include a range of watersports to alfresco spa treatments to cookery lessons.
