Pa Sak Tong: Exclusive Luxury Retreat in Thailand

Pa Sak Tong is a secluded luxury estate, set amid the green forests at the foothills of Doi Chang mountain of Chiang Rai in northern Thailand. Spread out within 29 acres are two villa complexes. The primary villa with three en-suite bedrooms housing a total of six guests and Khum Sak Tong made up of 4 teak villas, housing a total of 10 guests. All are beautifully designed in a traditional Thai style with teak woods and blends in perfectly with the surroundings.

Facilities at Pa Sak Tong include two private spas with steam rooms, a 30-metre chemical-free, solar-heated swimming pool and salas (pavilions) or relaxing and unique dining. Morning walkers can enjoy the 2-km walking trail or hike up Elephant Mountain for panoramic views. Activity enthusiasts will enjoy mountain biking or maybe a round of golf. Back at the resort, you can take yoga and meditation lessons, practice Thai boxing or just relax in the beautiful pool.

Stay Pa Sak Tong estate comprises of two villa complexes. The primary villa, is made up of three en-suite bedrooms housing a total of six guests in separately conditioned spaces. The villa occupies a spacious 650 sqm and has its own private pool, spa and gym. While Kuhm Sak Tong is the larger accommodation, made up of 4 teak villas, housing a total of 10 guests with 24-acres to explore. Both villas come with modern amenities, your personal chef, English-speaking butler and staff.

ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Pa Sak Tong. There is plenty to keep children entertained and the Pa Sak Tong Kids Club is filled with engaging games, book and toys for children of all ages.

Dine Each villa at the Pa Sak Tong comes with a personal chef will prepare delectable Thai and international dishes. Guests are encouraged to create your own menu or discuss requests with your personal chef. The hotel imports special ingredients that are difficult to source in Thailand, such as beef from Australia or New Zealand and cheese from France and Northern Italy. Meals are served in the dining Villa or in relaxing salas, while traditional Thai song and dance can be arranged.

Relax The Pa Sak Tong estate offers a full-service spa programme. The outdoor Spa Pavilion is fully equipped with a steam and outdoor treatment room where local experts use 100% organic and chemical-free products. Yoga and meditation sessions are held within the lush gardens and there is a highly skilled acupuncturist, who can help cure long-standing ailments. For healthy eating, the estate has its own organic garden that regularly supplies its produce to the kitchen.

Experience The region of Chiang Rai has one of the richest cultures and histories of the entire country. Pa Sak Tong estate can arrange excursions from the Golden Triangle and the ancient temples to city tours and the night bazaars. Activity enthusiasts can go golf, hiking and mountain biking or enjoy a Thai massage at the Spa Pavilion. One day, visit the local villages of Suan Doc, 'the garden of flowers' and enjoy a rewarding experience teaching English to local school children.
 


 

Location Set in the heart of Northern Thailand, Pa Sak Tong can be found on just 15-minutes away from the centre of Chiang Rai.

Getting there Fly into Chiang Rai Mae Fah Luang International Airport. From there Pa Sak Tong is a 30-minute drive away.

When to go The best time to visit Chiang Rai is between October and April. The monsoon season traditionally begins in May and lasts through to October, with July to September usually being the time of heaviest rain. The hottest month is April, when temperatures can hit the 40s. The cooler months of November to January will be a good time to travel if you don't like the heat, with the average day temperature slightly below 30°C.
