Stay Sala Ayutthaya comprises of just 26 bright and airy rooms. All are impossibly stylish, exhibiting a fashionable contemporary design with exposed red brickwork, light wood beams and ground to ceiling glass walls with views of the Chao Phraya river and the Wat Phutthaisawan. The Duplex River Suite has a living room with a private deck opening up to the Chao Phraya river. While, the spacious ground floor Pool Suite comes with bedroom, living area and 13 sqm. private plunge pool.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Sala Ayutthaya but there are no specific facilities available for children. Babysitting service can be arranged, upon request.
Dine The scenic, riverside restaurant at the Sala Ayutthaya is a romantic offering overlooking the legendary Chao Phraya river and wat Phutthaisawan. The menu reflects both Thai and Western influences with a variety of international dishes served indoors in an air-conditioned environment or al fresco on the deck. The riverside bar offers a range of wines, beers and cocktails from around the world, and is enjoyed in a stylish space overlooking the ruins of Ayutthaya.
Relax There is an art gallery in the lobby and Sala Ayutthaya has a small swimming pool and a spa. Guests can also try their hand at one of the four golf courses, including the Bang Sai country club with high standard facilities and 27 holes. Alternatively, you can explore the surrounding city and a number of local spa and beauty shops.
Experience When you are not busy relaxing in the pool or the spa at the Sala Ayutthaya, you’re going to want to explore Ayutthaya, for its temples ruins which once made it Thailand's capital city. This Unesco heritage site is known for archaeological and historical sites dating back to the original Ayutthaya Kingdom. Guests can also explore Ayutthaya's original floating market, the Chao Phrom Market, which still retains much of its traditional charm.

Getting there 11-hour international flight Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport. Sala Ayutthaya is a further 3-hour drive from the airport. Please note this can be more at different times of day due to traffic.
When to go Ayutthaya does not suffer from the extreme humidity as Bangkok but it does have the same three seasons - hot, cool and rainy. From March until June Ayutthaya sees high temperatures. November to February are the coolest months with temperatures dropping to a comfortable level. This is one of the best times to visit the city as sightseeing is a lot more enjoyable.
