Amenities
Stay The Naka Island features 80 spacious rooms and villas. Sophisticated and sublime each boast gorgeous indoor and outdoor areas and a white colour scheme with splashes of blue to reflect the ocean. The stylish rooms have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. While the enormous villas (450 to 1600 sqm) draped with jungle greenery, have private pools and an outdoor bath with private furnished balconies or patios with views of Phang Nga Bay.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at The Naka Island, but there are no specific facilities available for children. Babysitting service can be arranged, upon request.
Dine There are two unique dining venues at the Naka Island: The Tonsai Restaurant serves delicious Thai and international cuisine in its outdoor area and air-conditioned indoor dining room, while the My Grill Restaurant focuses on fresh seafood and premier steaks, all deliciously prepared with a European twist. The beachside Z Bar offers custom cocktails, enticing Asian style tapas and healthy refreshments. There is also a superb wine cellar and the option for in villa dining.
Relax Nestled on a private island, the Spa Naka is one of the largest spas in the region, offering a range of indigenous botanical treatments performed by expert therapists. Treatment rooms are housed in peaceful pavilions with hydrotherapy room, watsu pool, ice room and kanieep pool (for foot massages). There is also a large freshwater pool with views over the ocean and Phang Nga Bay as well as a fully-equipped gymnasium.
Experience There are a range of complimentary non-motorised water sports and outdoor activities on offer at The Naka Island. These range from sailing, kayaking, windsurfing to bike tours, leisurely walks and Thai boxing. The resort can also organise day excursions to provide an enriching and authentic local experience for each guest. Explore all areas of Phuket, including off-shore attractions and the many ornate temples that dot the island, including the majestic Wat Chelong.
Location Set on Naka Yai Island (Koh Naka Yai) in the southernmost province of Thailand, and offers scenic views of Phang Nga Bay.
Getting there 11-hour international flight to Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport, followed by a 1-hour domestic flight to Phuket International Airport. Naka Island is then a short road transfer and 5-minute private speedboat to the island.
When to go Tropical climate and the driest months to visit are December to March. November and April are also good months to visit and you may get some rain, although it is outside of the monsoon season. May to October is the monsoon with downpours occurring once or twice a day, rather than constant rain.
