All rooms have a serene, light, contemporary décor, with Portuguese tiled floors and high ceilings, which make them feel particularly spacious. The Villa Suites have the addition of a large living area and some are spread over two floors. Sliding glass doors open onto amazing open-air bathroom with a merman-sized, egg-shaped bath tub and a private pool with daybeds.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at The Sala Phuket but there are no specific facilities available for children. However, there is a small separated section in one of the pools which is shallow enough for young ones. Babysitting service is available, upon request.
Dine The award-winning beachfront SALA Restaurant serves a wide variety of international and Thai delicacies with a menu dedicated to different options such as ‘Crabs, scallops, prawns’; ‘Lobster’, ‘Lamb, pork, beef & the rest’. Meals are served near the beach, in a private gazebo or in a more exclusive rooftop dining area with tables that float around in a stunningly-designed pond. A beachfront bar serves a variety of delicious cocktails, wines, beers and refreshing soft drinks.
Relax Leisure facilities at the Sala Phuket include two beachfront infinity pools and a fun pool for little ones. There is also a fabulous spa featuring calming water affects, air-conditioned treatment rooms, sauna and steam rooms. Its new five-day detox and pamper programmes include yoga, wellness treatments and specially prepared meals. Other facilities include complimentary bicycles and a decent sized gym. There is also a cinema with comfy chairs and a popcorn machine.
Experience Those who like to discover Hong by starlight, visit Southern Similan Islands or Koh Rok, Koh Haa or Phi Phi Island, then Sala Phuket can arrange it for you on its premium speedboat. Take time to explore in style, with a luxury yacht cruise through the mysterious karsts of Phang Nga Bay or wander the viewpoints and waterfalls of the island's unseen hinterlands with a local guide. Other activities include kayaking, windsurfing, canoeing and learning Muay Thai boxing.
Location Located on pristine Mai Khao beach on Phuket's northwest shoreline. The famous Blue Canyon Golf Course is a short distance from SALA Phuket and the picturesque Phang Nga Bay is located just 25 minutes away.
Getting there 11-hour international flight to Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport, followed by a 1-hour domestic flight to Phuket International Airport. Sala Phuket is 20-minutes from the airport.
When to go Tropical climate and the driest months to visit are December to March. November and April are also good months to visit and you may get some rain, although it is outside of the monsoon season. May to October is the monsoon with downpours occurring once or twice a day, rather than constant rain.
