Location The Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok, is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya, in Bangkok. The hotel has a complimentary hotel ferry for the Saphan Taksin Skytrain station, that connects with the city centre.
Getting There There are direct (11-hour) international flights from the UK to the Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport. Peninsula Bangkok is a 45-minute drive from the airport.
When to go The best time to visit most of Thailand is between November and March as this is the coolest time of year. March-Jun brings the hot season when sightseeing is best scheduled for morning or late afternoon. May, September and October are the wettest months and between June and August, you can still visit Bangkok although you will get some rain. During this time, there are fewer tourists and the landscape is lush and green.
