Rayavadee – Cliffside Resort in Krabi, Thailand

Rayavadee is a boutique, luxury beach resort, set in the heart of Krabi's beautiful Phranang Peninsula in southern Thailand. Located near Krabi Marine National Park, an area renowned for its natural beauty and rich flora, fauna and marine life, it has 98 pavilions and 5 luxurious villas. All are decorated in chic colonial style with dark woods, richly coloured fabrics and handcrafted details. Some Pavilions have an outdoor Jacuzzi in private walled gardens while Villas have a plunge pool.

Dining options at the Rayavadee are well located to offer uninterrupted views of the Andaman Sea, while offering a choice of different menu styles from Thai specialities to international dishes. Leisure facilities include a large infinity pool and a luxurious spa offering a range of therapies. Located on the breathtaking Phra Nang headland and surrounded by three beautiful beaches and spectacular limestone cliffs, Rayavadee is a great base from which to explore the surrounding islands.
 


Stay Rayavadee features 98 two-storey pavilions and 5 luxurious villas. Each of the rooms is set in a circular two-storey pavilion which are dotted around tropical gardens and coconut groves just a few minutes’ walk from Railay and Phranang Beach. There's a spacious sitting room and a generously sized bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and all modern facilities, whilst the two and three-bedroom villas offer another level of luxury with swimming pools and a butler service.

ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Rayavadee. The 'Just for Kids' programme for 4-12-year olds includes tennis lessons, cooking, arts and crafts and discovery walks, all on a complimentary basis. Baby cots are free, and extra beds for older children are available at a small cost. Babysitting service can be arranged, upon request. 

Dine Guests have a choice of four restaurants at the Rayavadee, ranging from innovative five-star cuisine at Raya Dining to classic Thai dishes served beside the sea at Krua Phranang. The Raitalay Terrace offers a menu of tempting international favourites and cocktails in a stylish beachside setting, whilst The Grotto, set beneath an ancient limestone cliff by Phranang Beach, offers light snacks and hosts the occasional barbecue and is a perfect spot to enjoy your sundowners.

Relax For relaxation, there is a lagoon-style infinity pool surrounded by landscaped gardens and sunloungers. Those who like to pamper yourself can visit the decadent Rayavadee Spa that offers a vast array of therapies inspired by ancient Thai healing traditions. For those after a different kind of therapy, there’s an on-site boutique shopping centre showcasing an amazing array of traditional crafts produced by artisans from the local area or you can join Thai cooking course. 

Experience The Rayavadee unique natural setting makes it the perfect place to enjoy windsurfing, canoeing, hobie cat sailing and snorkelling, all of which are on complimentary basis. Other activities on offer include diving, fishing, rock climbing and an extensive choice of day trips on land and at sea as well as cultural activities such as Thai cooking. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy our two outdoor tennis courts and the air-conditioned squash court as well as a fully-equipped fitness room.

Location Rayavadee is located in Krabi, on southern Thailand’s Andaman coast.

Getting there Krabi International Airport is located just 23 kilometres from the resort approximately 25-minutes drive to the pier) and is served by numerous daily direct flights to Bangkok. Accessible only by sea due to the surrounding limestone cliffs, guests arrive at the resort after a short speedboat trip from Krabi pier.
