SISINDU C: Exclusive Beachfront Villa in Sri Lanka

SISINDU C is a small, charming beachfront villa, set near Habaraduwa, on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Sisindu C – the ‘C’ a play on the word ‘sea’ – is an iconic beach house offering classic tropical style with an international standard of private luxury. Situated beautifully on the pristine golden sand beach, with a spacious area for relaxing and close to dive centres, tea plantations and an array of fascinating cultural sites, it serves as a perfect escape for small families or couples.

The Sisindu C villa provides two beautiful bedrooms, set on the top floor, offering wide vistas of the Indian Ocean. Both the rooms are beautifully decorated with plush, king-size beds, polished concrete floors and antique or period style furniture. The villa is fully staffed with an experienced chef who will create delicious Sri Lankan and Western dishes in consultation with you. When not exploring, guests can relax in the lovely swimming pool, set within the sounds of the crashing waves.

This airy beach villa is ideally placed to access Marissa Water Sports Centre, the beautiful colonial town of Galle and turtle hatcheries along the Coast. For those who want to relax, Sisindu C provides an exclusive enclave, separated from the beach with a picket fence. Newly built in a traditional Sri Lankan architecture, it is perfectly designed to display a Mediterranean and homely feel that makes the stay here for families and couples, both welcoming and comfortable.

Getting there Fly to Colombo. 3-hour drive from Colombo Airport down the southern expressway to Habaraduwa.

When to go Sri Lanka is a year-round destination with consistently warm temperatures and lots of sunshine. There are two monsoon seasons but they only bring rain to the west and south-west coasts from May to September; and the east coast and northern region between October and February. The rest of the year is sunny and dry but the months of December to April are probably the best time to visit. Colombo and the low-lying coastal regions have an average temperature of 27°C.
