You can feast on international selections at Cafe' Mandalay and Mediterranean favourites at Uno or you can enjoy the refreshing cocktails at Planter's Lounge. Experience A short walk north from Sedona Hotel, are some of the historical sites including the Shwenandaw monastery, the most significant of Mandalay’s historic wooden buildings, built in the mid-19th-century. Nearby is Kuthodaw pagoda, known as World's Largest Book for its 729 stone-scripted slabs. In the surrounds, is the famous Mingun Pagoda, accessed by an hour's boat ride, on the Irrawaddy River. In the Mandalay town visit the Zaycho Market for last minute gifts.

Getting There Yangon airport has undergone a major renovation and facilitates both international and domestic terminals. Bagan and Mandalay airports are easily accessible by air from Yangon. It takes about an hour drive from Mandalay airport to the Sedona Hotel.
When to go The best time to visit Myanmar is between October and April when the weather is dry and not so hot. At this time, the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country. The temperatures start to rise in March and May to September is best avoided as this is the rainy season when sightseeing can become difficult.
