The Shwe Li is the main restaurant at the Sedona Mandalay hotel. It serves international and local cuisine while Cafe Mandalay Restaurant is popular for its Asian cuisine. Uno café serves western dishes like pizzas and pasta in open environment. There is a nice swimming pool with a Pool Bar that offers light refreshments. End your day with refreshing cocktails at the Planter's Lounge.

Stay Sedona Hotel in Mandalay has 247 comfortable guest rooms & Suites. The lead-in Deluxe rooms are on the ground floor, while Premier Deluxe are on higher levels. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, air-conditioning and refrigerator. Club Rooms are more spacious and have either a private outdoor terrace or a balcony. The Ambassador Suites have a separate living and dining areas for entertaining and equipped kitchenette. All Suites enjoy Executive Club Lounge benefits.


ChildCare Children are welcome to stay at the Sedona Hotel in Mandalay, but there are no specific facilities available. Babysitting service can be arranged, if requested. 


Dine Cafe Mandalay Restaurant at the Sedona Hotel with rustic settings, serves popular Asian cuisine such as Tandoori Chicken and Spring Beef Noodles amidst rustic settings. For something more western, relax on a plush chair in the high-ceiling cool Uno café that serves pizzas and pasta in open environment. For dinner visit the Shwe Li Restaurant, best for international cuisine, all-time favourites include Myanmar-styled Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala and Pan-Fried Butter Fish. 


Relax In the Sedona Hotel’s backyard, the sprawling swimming pool is good for unwinding after a day of sightseeing where you enjoy light refreshments at the Pool Bar. You can feast on international selections at Cafe' Mandalay and Mediterranean favourites at Uno or you can enjoy the refreshing cocktails at Planter's Lounge. Other facilities include Children's Pool, Outdoor Pool and a health club with spa.


Experience A short walk north from Sedona Hotel, are some of the historical sites including the Shwenandaw monastery, the most significant of Mandalay’s historic wooden buildings, built in the mid-19th-century. Nearby is Kuthodaw pagoda, known as World's Largest Book for its 729 stone-scripted slabs. In the surrounds, is the famous Mingun Pagoda, accessed by an hour's boat ride, on the Irrawaddy River. In the Mandalay town visit the Zaycho Market for last minute gifts.

Getting There Yangon airport has undergone a major renovation and facilitates both international and domestic terminals. Bagan and Mandalay airports are easily accessible by air from Yangon. It takes about an hour drive from Mandalay airport to the Sedona Hotel.


When to go The best time to visit Myanmar is between October and April when the weather is dry and not so hot. At this time, the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country. The temperatures start to rise in March and May to September is best avoided as this is the rainy season when sightseeing can become difficult.
