Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa is one of the luxurious beach resorts, set on an idyllic Ngapali Beach in the village of Myabin, Southern Myanmar. Designed by acclaimed British architect David Wordsworth, each of the thatched roof villas are beautifully crafted and carefully set to provide stunning sea views. The interiors, designed by U Kyaw Sein, blend modern design with locally inspired arts and artefacts to provide a luxurious space within a traditional environment.

Stay Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa features just 32 air-conditioned villas grouped in four categories, differing only in location and offering either a terrace or a plunge pool. Each villa is uniquely designed and decorated with an essence of understated luxury; polished wooden floors, high ceilings and large glass windows. Expect plush beds draped in fine linen, selected pieces of art and artefacts and modern ensuite bathrooms with copper basins, roll top bathtubs and an open-air shower.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at Ngapali Bay Villas. Children below 5 years sharing parent’s bed enjoy complimentary breakfast, while those between 5-12 years are charged fifty percent for extra bed including breakfast. Only one extra bed is allowed per villa.
Dine The beach side Tamarind is the main restaurant at the Ngapali Bay Villas serving a fusion of Myanmar fare and Western-style cuisine at our Tamarind Restaurant. Meals are prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients with focus on catch of the day and served either in the restaurant or on the wide open-air terrace at the ocean front. The poolside salad bar offers tropical cocktails and exotic fruit juices. Guests can also opt for a private dinner on an exclusive part of the beach.
Relax Facilities at the Ngapali Bay Villas include the Frangipani Spa offers a range of massages, facials, scrubs and aromatherapy. There is also a swimming pool and a poolside bar serving drinks and light meals. In the surrounds are the sweeping gardens spilling over onto the beach, offering plenty of spaces to relax.
Experience Situated on the Ngapali Beach Ngapali Bay Villas provides a perfect retreat for travellers who want a relaxed or an adventurous hideaway. Guests can explore nearby villages, visit local art galleries or Kin Pun Chone Village, where you can bath and feed a family of elephants. Interesting sites include Sandaw, Nandaw and Andaw Pagodas, where you will find enshrined relics of Buddha. One day take a river trip along the Thandwe river or go snorkelling, kayaking and scuba diving.
Location Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa is located on an unspoiled natural beach at the western seaboard of the Rakhine State in Myanmar. It can be reached by a short 45-minute flight from Yangon and 9 km (6 mile) drive by private transfer from Thandwe Airport to Mya Pyin Village.
Getting there 15-hour flight (via Bangkok) to Yangon. Ngapali is a 45-minute flight from Yangon, followed by a 30-minute drive from Thandwe airport.
When to go The best time to visit Burma is during the dry season from November to April. At this time the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country. The temperatures start to rise in March, and May to September is best avoided as this is the rainy season when sightseeing can become difficult.
