Experience Putao is located near the northern tip of Myanmar, close to the eastern end of the Himalayas. Malikha Lodge offers a perfect base from which travellers can explore the surrounding areas generally observed on treks that typically start from 4 days/3 nights. Surrounded by subtropical rainforest and jagged peaks, it is home to a myriad of different cultures and religions, which makes it an interesting objective to explore the region.

Location Malikha Lodge is located in Putao in the far north of Burma, right under snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

Getting there Fly from either Yangon or Mandalay to Putao.

When to go The best time to visit Burma is during the dry season from November to April. At this time the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country. The temperatures start to rise in March, and May to September is best avoided as this is the rainy season when sightseeing can become difficult.
