Pristine Lotus is a traditional-style resort, set on the west bank of Inle Lake, in Eastern Myanmar. Positioned at a rare vantage point, on a hillside village of Khaung Daing, the resort is gracefully laid out over a landscaped hillside that gently slopes into the lake, offering great views over the water and the Shan hills beyond. The property is just a 20-minute boat-ride from Nyang Shwe or an interesting 45-minute drive from Heho airport, making it a good base to explore Inle lake.
Accommodation at the Pristine Lotus Resort comprises of 119 guestrooms. These comprise of independent villas surrounded with lush tropical landscape, fresh lake breeze and endless views of the lush valley. The new boat-shaped floating duplex villas feature elegantly designed rooms with great views of the Lake. Bathrooms are spacious and sleek, and air-con or heating is provided, depending on the season. There is tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar and Wi-fi.
The in-house restaurant housed in a large circular teak-canopied structure overlooking the lake, serves International and traditional cuisines. One of the highlights here is the Lotus Spa with treatment rooms and natural hot-spring pools. Pristine Lotus Resort can arrange guided boat trips to the surrounding villages of Inndein known for its stupas and Kakku, the hidden gem with a collection of thousands of stupas commissioned 2,000 years ago.

Stay Pristine Lotus Resort features 119 cabins, villas and suites. All are built in traditional style with teak, hardwood and bamboo and furnished with polished floors, king size beds and high open-beamed ceilings with their own private balcony. Spacious villas and suites with a fresh, bright and slightly contemporary décor have sitting areas with large glass doors that open out onto lush gardens. The new, smaller ‘floating’ cabins are grouped in pairs which are ideal for families.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Pristine Lotus Resort but there are no specific facilities available for children.
Dine The in-house restaurant at the Pristine Lotus Resort, housed in a large teak canopied building and serves a fusion of Chinese, Thai, Myanmar, Shan, European and Indian dishes. The over-water restaurant is connected by wooden walkways and overlooks the gardens and lakeside area. Meals are usually buffet style with some al la carte options. There is also a 24-hour rooms service available.
Relax Facilities at the Pristine Lotus Resort include a good size swimming pool and a luxurious Lotus Spa offering a range of treatments. Set in an open-air circular building it comes with a jacuzzi and two natural hot-spring-fed pools.
Experience There is much to see and do around the Pristine Lotus Resort beginning with a boat tour to see its floating lush gardens or the unique fishing style used by Inle Lake’s Intha fishermen. Nature enthusiasts can go trekking to visit local villages accompanied by a private guide. There is limited entertainment in terms of restaurants, shopping and bars nearby but with all the natural beauty around, and hot springs to relax within walking distance, you not likely miss any of it.

Getting there 14-hour flight (one change) to Heho Airport. Pristine Lotus Resort is a 45-minute drive from the Heho airport.
