The suites are wonderful for families, sleeping six in three fully equipped en-suite sub-bedrooms, which share two extensive lounges and a kitchenette. The luxurious rooms come with air-conditioning and satellite TV and minibar.
Dining options at the Rupar Mandalar Resort include a wide range from Burmese and Asian to Western cuisine. For relaxation, the hotel has a lovely swimming pool, the largest in Mandalay. There are also tennis courts, two saunas, a small spa and a well-equipped gym. In the surrounds are many attractions such as the Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery and Maha Myat Muni Pagoda. Take a stroll through the Zegyo Market, the oldest and most important in Mandalay.

Stay Rupar Mandalar Resort has 44 newly furnished suites. These are designed with the outstanding use of traditional timber and have a private balcony. Family suites are more spacious and include three luxurious and relaxing rooms; private living room, dining room and a family room. While Junior Suites have a master bedroom and a sitting room. Common amenities include air-conditioning, Satellite TV, complimentary coffee/tea making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
ChildCare Children are welcome to stay at the Rupar Mandalar Resort, but there are no specific facilities available. Junior Suites have an extra sitting room where children can be accommodated. Babysitting service can be arranged on request.
Dine Dining options at the Rupar Mandalar Resort include three restaurants and two bars. These serve a variety of Thai, Chinese and European cuisine and local seafood delicacies in beautiful casual or more formal settings. Breakfast has plenty of choice, from local to Western style food and yes, they make a very good cappuccino!
Relax A focal point of this low-rise Rupar Mandalar property is the free-form swimming pool which makes an inviting spot for afternoon idylls. Getting There Yangon airport has undergone a major renovation and facilitates both international and domestic terminals. There are daily flights from Yangon and Bagan to Mandalay during the tourist season from October to May. It takes about one hour and thirty minutes by air from Yangon.
When to go The best time to visit Myanmar is between October and April when the weather is dry and not so hot. At this time the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country. The temperatures start to rise in March and May to September is best avoided as this is the rainy season when sightseeing can become difficult.
