Amanoi

Amanoi is a tranquil clifftop resort set on a wide, mountainous promontory of Nui Chua National Park, overlooking Vinh Hy Bay, in southeastern Vietnam. At the centre is an open-air mountaintop building that houses the restaurant and bar, library, and terrace with views of the surrounding lush, tree-carpeted peaks. Situated within a beautifully manicured landscape, are 36 pavilions and residences, all utterly spacious creating a head-emptying feeling. 

Accommodation at the Amanoi ranges from one to five free-standing pavilions with private swimming pools and some with spa facilities. The resort’s main spa has evolved a new programme based on Individual Wellness Immersions combined with specialised nutritional support. Physical activities include a fantastic array of water sports from snorkelling to kayaking and sailing to kite-surfing. In the surrounds are opportunities for trekking within the Nui Chua National Park.
 


Stay Amanoi comprises of just 29 pavilions & pool villas, 5 residences and 2 spa houses. All have a contemporary Vietnamese architecture with a simple, minimalist style. Inside, rooms are furnished with unique customised blonde wood furniture, selected pieces of art and artefacts, and ground to ceiling glass windows. Positioned on the hillside, all are identical in layout with spacious combined sleeping and living areas, luxurious bathrooms and a sundeck complete with sun loungers.

There are five free-standing residences, which are perfect for family or a group of friends travelling together. Each Amanoi Residence consists of four or five free-standing bedrooms, as well as living and dining areas and a large infinity swimming pool and full staff. There are also two Spa Houses, with private spa facilities together with one or two beautifully appointed guest pavilions. Guests will be tended to by two dedicated therapists, and daily 90-minute Aman or Vietnamese massage.

ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the Amanoi but there are no specific facilities available for children. Babysitting service can be arranged on request.

Dine The Amanoi resort’s main restaurant is housed in the Central Pavilion, a communal hall located on the hilltop and Inspired by traditional Vietnamese architecture. Elegant and spacious, it serves Vietnamese and international cuisines in an air-conditioned interior, as well as shaded al fresco dining areas. Set in the same Pavilion with views of rolling hills is the Amanoi bar designed to mimic a local tea house. Overlooked by magnificent granite cliffs, the Beach Club is the place for lunch. 

Relax There are two beautiful pools at the Amanoi resort. The 50-metre pool situated on the white sandy beach of Vinh Hy Bay and the 20-metre infinity-edge clifftop pool overlooking the ocean. The tranquil spa, set by a lotus-filled lake comprises five double treatment rooms and two hydrotherapy suites creating an oasis for relaxation. Fitness options include a spacious light filled gymnasium, pilates studio, lakeside yoga pavilion, two outdoor tennis courts and plenty of scenic walking trails.

Experience Set between a national park and a marine reserve, Amanoi is surrounded with nature. Trek through Nui Chua National Park, home to a vast variety of flora and fauna. Cycle to Thai An through pristine wilderness and wander through a village lost in time. Catamarans offer sea adventures or you can explore the granite rock formations and secret inlets of the jagged coast by kayak or boat. Snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing and hobie cats are all offered at Amanoi.

Location Amanoi is situated on a wide, mountainous promontory of the Nui Chua National Park, overlooking one of Vietnam's most beautiful bays - Vinh Hy Bay. A marine reserve adjoins the National Park and is home to a large variety of sea corals, tropical fish species, hawksbill and green sea turtles.

Getting there Cam Ranh is the nearest airport and is served by domestic airlines from Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi. Upon arriving at Cam Ranh Airport, it takes 75-minutes by car to the Amanoi, which is situated 55km south of the airport. It's a beautiful drive hugging the coastline of some of Vietnam's most picturesque scenery.

When to go The temperature is warm throughout the year (average 29°C), yet hotter around months June and July and cooler around December. It will be very rainy from September till January, and dry for the rest of the year. Overall, the best time to visit is between February and June when rainfall is low and temperatures are pleasant. The temperatures can get hot during summer time and during the rainy season, particularly during October and November, rains can be frequent and heavy.
