The Halong Jasmine is a custom designed wooden junk, which cruises around the spectacular scenery of Halong Bay in northeast Vietnam. This 1930's Asian chic, features 24 spacious cabins, a restaurant serving delicious Vietnamese cuisine, a lounge on upper deck and even a spa offering a range of treatments guaranteed to unwind and rejuvenate. All rooms have floor to ceiling windows, and some have private balconies, mini bar and bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs.

Stay Halong Jasmine features just 24 cabins grouped in three categories. Each is designed in a sophisticated and luxurious style with wooden floors and floor to ceiling windows and private balconies in both Deluxe and Suites. All cabins are air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms offering twin beds in the premium cabins, queen sized doubles in the Deluxe and king-sized beds in the suites. The later also has a mini bar and bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay aboard the Halong Jasmine but there are no specific facilities available for children, however inter-connecting cabins are available for families. Children under 5 stay for free in parents' room (only applicable when occupied by 2 adults); 1 child max per cabin. There are also 2 extra beds per junk available at a supplement cost. Children will love the excitement of an ocean adventure but safety of children remains the responsibility of parents.
Dine The restaurant on the upper deck of Halong Jasmine, is flooded with light and 360-degree views, with an Al-fresco seating area outside along the railing. Additionally, live cooking stations will enable passengers to interact with chefs for a totally new culinary experience. Lunches are generally buffet style and include Vietnamese cuisine with a focus on fresh catch of the day. Dinners are equally indulgent with three course meals finishing with a dessert.
Relax Halong Jasmine’s three decks house a comfortable lounge, boutique and informative library. There are also two bar which are a great place to get to know fellow travellers and a Jasmine Spa with full floor to ceiling glass windows to marvel at the beauty of the untouched nature at Lan Ha Bay whilst receiving massage treatments.
Experience Activities during your stay on board Halong Jasmine include boat trips to beautiful deserted beaches and unspoilt fishing villages. Headline attractions include Sung Sot Cave, Pelican Cave or Titop Island. Also included are the popular Bright and Dark Caves and the Dau Go Cave. On longer itineraries you will explore further afield heading out to Cat Ba Island and Bai Tu Long Bay stopping off at fishing villages and local villages. Activities also include fishing, cycling, swimming and snorkelling.
Location 170 kilometres from Hanoi, in northeastern Vietnam, Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Getting there 15-hour international flight (one change) to Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport followed by a 3-hour drive to Halong Bay.
When to go The best time of year to visit Halong Bay is during the spring or autumn. Because the bay is situated in the northern part of the country, it can get colder in the winter. The rainy season here is at its peak in July to September. July is the hottest month, January the coolest. The dry season runs from November to April.
