An Lam Saigon is a five-star luxury boutique resort, located on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam. Set in a former private residence, standing on the banks of the Saigon River, it has just 19 deftly smart suites and villas. All have a contemporary design with flashes of Vietnamese and French styles and some boast private pools and river views. There is a waterfront restaurant, pool, spa, Yoga sala and lovely gardens, which makes a good alternative for those who wish to stay outside but not far from the city centre.

All are exclusively designed in classic Vietnamese style with rich teak woods, beautifully carved patterns, bamboo furnishings and detailed ceramics. All come with a balcony, terrace or garden and spacious bathrooms feature rain showers, huge stone bathtubs and large vanity areas, many extend inside and outside. The Pool Suite and Villas have a private pool and terrace overlooking the river.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at the An Lam Saigon. Cots are free and extra beds are available at a small charge, and restaurants will tailor dishes to fussy palates. Babysitting service is available, upon request.
Dine The highlight at the An Lam Saigon is the chic wooden restaurant that juts out over the water, where you can sit beneath 75-year-old trees that weep creepers, and watch the sun dip with a Caipirinha. There are comfy rattan chairs with big cushions to sink into, perfect for relishing delicious Vietnamese and western cuisine. Guests can dine in the air-conditioned comfort of the main floor restaurant or al fresco on the waterfront terrace.
Relax The An Lam Saigon resort's spa offers a comprehensive menu of treatments by highly trained therapists. Guests can enjoy a cookery lesson, take part in a yoga lesson or simply relax around the pool. Alternatively, take a stroll in the lovely gardens, luxuriant with camellia trees in bud, spiky birds of paradise and fan palms near which loungers and love seats are carefully positioned to provide a relaxing space.
Experience Ho Chi Minh City (commonly known as Saigon) is known for its French colonial landmarks, including Notre-Dame Cathedral, made entirely of materials imported from France, and the 19th-century Central Post Office. An Lam Saigon can arrange tour to view Vietnam's War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace and other important sites including the awe-inspiring Jade Emperor Pagoda. Also wander through the famous Dong Khoi street and the bustling Bến Thành Market.
Location Located on the fringe of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), An Lam Saigon River is approximately 40 minutes from the centre of town or a 15 minute speedboat journey.
Getting there 11-hour international flight to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Saigon. An Lam Saigon River is a further 40 minute drive from town, or a 15 minute speedboat transfer.
When to go Hot all year round and December to April is the dry season with occasional rain. May to November is the wet season with showers almost every day and flooding in the Mekong Delta can occur. December is the coolest month, while April and May tend to be the hottest months.
