DAY 1

Riyadh

Arrive at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, where a private transfer will take you to your hotel. This first day is all about unwinding after your journey and getting used to your new surroundings. Take some time to relax and settle in, let the energy of the city ease you into the trip. Riyadh’s vibe is buzzing in the background, hinting at the amazing cultural and historical experiences to come. Whether you chill at the hotel or take a gentle walk nearby, this day is a gentle introduction to your Saudi adventure.


DAY 2

Riyadh

Start the day at the National Museum where Saudi Arabia’s history comes alive through exhibits and ancient artefacts. Then head to Al Masmak Fortress, the iconic site of the unification of the kingdom. After that, walk through Souq Al Zal, full of spices and traditional crafts. Enjoy a local lunch, then head up the Kingdom Tower for panoramic views of the city. As the day winds down, travel to Jebel Fihrayn, known as the ‘Edge of the World’, for a stunning sunset over the desert.

DAY 3

Hail

After breakfast, fly to Hail, a region famous for its ancient rock art. Lunch and try some local flavours before heading out to the UNESCO listed carvings at Jubbah and nearby sites. These 10,000 year old artworks will give you an insight into life in the region. In the evening, experience local hospitality with a meal in a traditional home. You’ll also get to write your name in ancient Thamudic script, connecting today’s visit with the timeless creativity of this land’s earliest people.


DAY 4

Al Ula

Visit A’arif Fort this morning, perched on a hill with great views of Hail. Then head to Al Ula. After checking in and freshening up, explore Al Jajidah district — a lively pedestrian area with food stalls, cafes, music and local art. The district has five themed squares, each with something different, from handmade crafts to live performances. Al Jajidah is the modern face of Al Ula that still celebrates its heritage. The relaxed atmosphere lets you explore at your own pace and enjoy the evening.


DAY 5

Al Ula

Today you’ll walk the Heritage Oasis Trail, a scenic route through Al Ula’s green heart. Along the way, enjoy fresh juice and see traditional mudbrick homes surrounded by palm groves. Stop at a local farm for a home-cooked lunch and get a taste of local flavours and hospitality. In the afternoon, climb into a vintage Land Rover and head to Hegra, the ancient Nabataean city with its impressive carved tombs. End the day with sunset views from Harrat Awairth Mountain where the landscape stretches out in all directions.

DAY 6

Al Ula

Explore Al Ula Old Town today, wandering through the ruins of this once important stop on the pilgrimage route. Mudbrick buildings and AlUla Castle reveal centuries of history. In the afternoon, take a break from the heat and chill out. Later, head into the desert for a magical stargazing experience. With no light pollution, the night sky lights up in a way that’s hard to see. This peaceful moment under the stars is the perfect way to appreciate Al Ula’s natural beauty.


DAY 7

Medina

Leave early for Medina, one of the holiest cities in Islam. While only Muslims can enter certain sacred areas like al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the city’s architecture and spiritual atmosphere can be seen from the outside. Visit the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization. Opened in 2021, this modern museum uses digital displays to tell the life story of Prophet Mohammed and the roots of Islamic civilisation. The visit will give you a deeper understanding of Islamic history and its significance in this sacred city.


DAY 8

Jeddah

Take the high-speed train to Jeddah, an ancient port city full of charm and history. Explore Al Balad, the historic quarter with coral-stone buildings, narrow lanes and colourful souks. Visit the beautifully restored Nasseef House to learn about local life in the past. As you walk through the markets and see the traditional architecture, you’ll see how Jeddah balances old and new. This area is the soul of the city and gives you an authentic look at its cultural roots and evolving identity through art, heritage and hospitality.

DAY 9

Jeddah

Spend the day on the Red Sea on a private boat. Snorkel and fish in the clear waters, see colourful fish, coral reefs and even sunken ships. Have a fresh seafood lunch on the boat before returning to shore. In the evening, walk along Jeddah’s corniche, a lively waterfront with sculptures, cafes and play areas. Watch the sun set over the Red Sea and see the King Fahd Fountain light up the night sky. It’s the perfect way to unwind and enjoy Jeddah’s coastal beauty.


DAY 10

Jazan

Fly south to Jazan, a city full of nature and culture. Head into the Faifa mountains where steep terraces show how local tribes have grown coffee, maize and herbs for generations. Visit the region’s largest museum and see the colourful tribal dress and unique stone houses. Have lunch at a local farm and learn how coffee is grown, picked and roasted. This day is a mix of natural scenery, traditional farming and cultural heritage unique to the mountainous heart of Jazan.


DAY 11

Jazan

Go to Wadi Lajab, one of Jazan’s most beautiful natural areas. Surrounded by towering cliffs covered in greenery, the valley features flowing streams, pools and waterfalls. It’s like a secret garden in the desert. Walk along the water, dip your feet in the cool pools and listen to the sounds of birds and rushing water. The peaceful setting and lush landscape is a refreshing escape and a perfect contrast to the surrounding desert, making it the highlight of your time in the south.

DAY 12

Jeddah

Return to Jeddah for a free day at your own pace. You might want to relax at your hotel, visit local shops or take a peaceful walk along the corniche. This day is yours to enjoy as you like. Reflect on the places you’ve seen, from mountains to mosques, deserts to coastlines. Whether you want to rest or do some last minute sightseeing, Jeddah’s warm energy, bustling markets and sea views are the perfect way to end your trip to Saudi Arabia.


DAY 13

Jeddah - Departure

On your final day, after breakfast, take a moment to reflect on the rich tapestry of experiences and memories woven throughout your journey. When ready, a private transfer will escort you to the airport, marking the end of your Saudi Arabian odyssey.
