DAY 1

Manila

Arrive in Manila and check in to your hotel. Take a gentle stroll around the city and get your first taste of Philippine life. Manila is old and new – modern malls sit beside Spanish-era buildings. The city’s architecture and energy reflects its long and varied history, making it both a bustling city and a vibrant city. As you walk around, you’ll see colonial churches, including the historic San Agustin Church in Intramuros, colourful jeepneys and lively food stalls. Be sure to visit Rizal Park, a key cultural landmark where you can explore the history of the Philippines and enjoy a walk dedicated to the national hero, Jose Rizal. Spend the evening relaxing or dining in a local restaurant. Manila is a great place to start your holiday and get a taste of the culture and history that shapes the islands of the Philippines.

These are some of the most visited landmarks in Manila. Intramuros is a calm oasis from the busy city outside its walls. It’s a great way to understand how the Spanish influenced Filipino culture, religion and architecture. A guided tour is available to help you learn about the area's history and architecture. Take time to enjoy the gardens and maybe stop for coffee at one of the area’s heritage cafes.

Next, visit the tarsier sanctuary to see one of the world’s smallest primates in a protected area. As you travel, pass through small villages, rice fields and old Spanish churches that show Bohol’s culture and lifestyle. There’s also time for a river cruise or visit to a local village. DAY 6

Siquijor

Take a scenic ferry to Siquijor, an island of magic, legends and quiet beauty. Upon arrival, you’ll head to the main town, which serves as a hub for exploring the island and its surroundings. Spanish settlers once called it “Island of Fire” because of the fireflies that light up the trees at night. When you arrive, your guide will take you to a beachfront hotel where you can relax. The island is known for its traditional healers and natural springs. Locals believe in science and old ways of healing. Spend your first afternoon on Siquijor settling in, enjoying the beach and soaking up the island’s mystical atmosphere. Siquijor is also recognized as one of the top island hopping destinations in the region, offering access to beautiful spots and hidden gems. As part of an island-hopping tour, you may have the chance to visit a secret lagoon, perfect for swimming and relaxing in a serene setting.

DAY 7

Siquijor

Today, tour Siquijor. Visit small villages, meet the locals and shop for handicrafts. You’ll also visit old churches and viewpoints where you can see the island’s lush green landscape, as well as explore the island's hidden gems. Consider heading to the northern tip of the island for a scenic viewpoint and unique photo opportunities. Enjoy the beach or go for a swim. If you like diving or snorkelling, Siquijor has great spots with clear water and coral reefs. After relaxing at the beach or visiting local cafes, you may notice the lively atmosphere in certain parts of the island, especially during festivals or local gatherings. The day is relaxed and flexible so you can explore the island at your own pace. Return to your hotel in the evening for another peaceful night by the sea.

Then stop by a butterfly sanctuary where you can see many local species up close. For a more private experience, you can also visit secluded beaches around the island. The rest of the day is yours to relax. Read a book under a palm tree, go for a walk on the beach or enjoy lunch in a local café, then take advantage of a free afternoon to unwind. This island is all about peace and quiet, so it’s the perfect place to simply relax and soak in the peaceful environment.

DAY 9

Dauin

Boat to Dumaguete then travel along the coast to Dauin. This peaceful area is known for its sea life and laid back atmosphere. During certain seasons, you may even have the chance to encounter whale sharks while snorkelling or diving. After checking in at your hotel, take a swim or walk by the beach, where you can admire the dramatic cliffs that line parts of the coastline. Dauin has been a favourite spot for snorkellers and divers for years, with some dive sites featuring World War II shipwrecks waiting to be explored. It’s also full of local stories—some say spirits once lived along the coast. Whether or not you believe the legends, the charm of the place is real. Relax, enjoy the ocean breeze and get ready for the adventures ahead.

Dauin

Your last full day, do as you please. Snorkel again, visit more beaches, or take a short trip inland to Mt. Talinis Geothermal Reserve. There you’ll find hot springs where you can soak and relax. A great way to end the trip with something different. After these activities, you’ll have free time to choose your preferred way to spend the day. If you prefer, stay by the hotel pool and enjoy a free afternoon with good food and sea views. Active or restful, today is about enjoying Dauin before heading home. ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

YOUR TRIP DESIGN, PACE & FLEXIBILITY: This privately operated Philippines adventure is designed to be experienced at a premium level—top-end accommodation where available, private services, and expert-led delivery throughout. That comfort specification and the calibre of on-the-ground expertise are central to the pricing. While the route is carefully structured, the day-to-day rhythm is intentionally flexible: longer stays can be prioritised over additional stops, touring can be timed for calmer hours, and the balance between heritage, island downtime and marine experiences can be refined discreetly during travel, subject to local logistics and conditions.

TOP-END ACCOMMODATION & THE VALUE BEHIND THE PRICE: The Philippines is not a uniform “five-star” market, particularly as you move away from major hubs. This tour is priced to secure the best-available stays in each location, prioritising privacy, quiet, service standards and the right room categories—often the difference between a pleasant stay and a genuinely high-end one. Where a destination is naturally more boutique, comfort is elevated through room positioning, upgraded handling, and a pacing strategy that protects rest and recovery. The intention is consistency of experience, even when the country’s infrastructure varies by island.

PRIVATE SERVICE, EXPERT LEADERSHIP & CONCIERGE DELIVERY: This is an adventure executed with a VIP mindset. Private transfers, discreet coordination, and specialist expertise are deployed precisely where they add value—heritage interpretation where context matters, marine days where judgement and timing are everything, and seamless handovers between islands. The style is refined and light-touch: access, reservations and timing are managed quietly in the background, while you retain complete privacy and freedom in how each day feels. Should conditions shift, the programme can be re-sequenced smoothly so the quality of the experience remains uncompromised.

HERITAGE MANILA, ELEVATED: The Manila chapter is designed to feel first-class rather than touristic. Expect museum-quality options and architecture-led exploration curated for substance and atmosphere—such as the National Museum collections, the best-preserved heritage precincts within Intramuros, and a discreet architectural lens on older commercial districts like Escolta. Timing and access matter here; we prioritise quieter windows and the right cultural hosts so the experience feels informed, calm and genuinely rewarding.

ISLAND & MARINE EXPERIENCES, EXECUTED AT A HIGH STANDARD: This adventure is built around islands where the experience is defined by conditions—sea state, visibility and tides. Water-based days are planned with the best timing for clarity and comfort, and can be upgraded through private boat handling and stronger specialist support. The marine finale is designed to be a highlight, whether you prefer effortless snorkelling with minimal fuss or a more active diving-led finish. The emphasis is always the same: comfort, discretion, and a sense of privilege on the water.

WHAT CAN BE ELEVATED FURTHER: If you would like the journey to feel even more exclusive, the most meaningful upgrades typically sit in three areas: (1) securing higher room categories and more private positioning, (2) increasing the degree of private handling on marine days, and (3) adding a calmer overall rhythm—one or two additional nights in the right place can transform how the entire programme feels. These options are best considered early, as the most desirable inventory and specialist services can be capacity-constrained.
