ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian. All suites and some guestrooms have interconnecting doors making them ideal for family use. Babysitting service can be arranged, upon request. 

Dine Dolce Vita, the main restaurant at Sofitel Legend Peoples Grand Hotel Xian, serves deliciously authentic Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner. The 1953 lobby lounge offers luxurious surroundings, ideal for cocktails, afternoon tea, and light snacks. The Louis XIII Bar in partnership with Remy Martin, serves rare Louis XIII Fortress cognac and other special editions, premium spirits and Champagne.

Relax For relaxation there is a boutique spa with three treatment rooms, including one for couples, plus a traditional Chinese foot massage room. Sofitel Legend Peoples Grand Hotel Xian also has a beautiful indoor pool with floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the surrounding gardens. Experience Situated within the ancient city walls, Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian is well placed to explore the city’s historical sites in the Old Town including the Wild Goose Pagoda, Drum and Bell Tower, Wild Goose Pagoda. The best way to explore the city’s 600-year-old City Wall is on a bike with relaxing stop at Han Yang Ling Museum. Further afield is, Huashan one of the five greatest mountains in China best-known for its steep slopes and hair-raising walkways.

Location Located in the heart of the historical centre of Xian with easy access to key sites such as the Bell Tower and Renmin Square.

Getting there Best accessed from the airport by taxi or private car, the journey should take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Also accessible via the underground, stop Bell Tower.

When to go Spring time from March to May is the best time to visit when the weather is not too hot. Later on in the year around the Autumn time, September and October, is also a great time to visit as it is a little cooler and there is less rainfall.
