Alexa Private Cruise: Exclusive Yacht Experience in Indonesia

Alexa is a 31-meter luxury Phinisi yacht available for a private cruise charter, docked in Flores near Komodo National Park. This historical boat, which has been carrying cargo within the Indonesian archipelago, has been transformed. Now fully refurbished, it's one of the most exquisite and tastefully restored single cabin boats in Asia. Alexa operates between the Indonesian archipelago including the remote islands of Raja Ampat in March-April and October each year.

The historic Alexa boat has just one spacious Suite. Set within a traditional Phinisi ship design, the room incorporates modern furnishing of refined teak interiors with a collection of tasteful antiques, Persian rugs and silk cushions. Panoramic windows offer wide vistas and for relaxations there is private lounge and an additional daybed. Your on-board private chef will cook the dish of your choice; freshly caught fish or a seafood BBQ and serve it in the most beautiful setting.

The cruise director can arrange the most wonderful expeditions to remote islands, tribal villages, waterfalls and turtle beaches to make sure you make the most of this remote, exotic and completely unique region. Itineraries are varied but the cruise does concentrate on the islands of Flores, Moya, Sumbawa and Komodo National Park, a group of majestic islands that are easily some of the most beautiful in Indonesia with pristine beaches and the most spectacular underwater life.

Location Alexa is docked in Labuan Bajo, in Flores, an island in eastern Indonesia.

Getting there Alexa is docked in Labuan Bajo, in Flores, a short flight from Bali. Alternatively the boat can collect and drop off passengers from Bali, Lombok and Moyo Island for an additional charge.

When to go Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – wet and dry – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Indonesia at its most humid and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods.
