Begin your day with a leisurely morning walk along the beach, followed with a leisurely breakfast on the ‘Breeze’. The Samaya Seminyak can organise private guided tours of visit the nearby sea temples of Pura Petitenget, Pura Masceti. Outdoor activities available close by the resort include scuba diving and snorkelling, horse riding and mountain biking. Back at the resort, there is a swimming pool and a luxurious spa offering a range of treatments, massages and yoga lessons.

Stay The Samaya Seminyak features 52 private villas. Pool Villas and Royal Pavilion Villas are set on the beachside part of the property, whilst Royal Courtyard Villas are located in a peaceful village courtyard setting, favoured by many, as they are larger. These one or two-bedroom villas are furnished with four-poster beds and open out into gorgeous walled gardens with private pools amidst tropical plants and an open-air bathroom, and come with a 24-hour butler service.
ChildCare Families with children are welcome to stay at The Samaya Seminyak but there are no specific facilities available for children. Babysitting service can be arranged, upon request.
Dine There are two dining options at the Samaya Seminyak. The ‘Breeze’ is a gourmet beachfront restaurant and bar, where you can enjoy your al fresco breakfast, or a romantic dinner beautifully lit by the hanging lanterns. There is an excellent wine list with at least 160 global wine labels that you can inspect in its air-conditioned cellar. Across the road in the Royal Courtyard area is the atmospheric Brasserie, which serves up traditional Indonesian dishes for dinner.
Relax Set in manicured gardens adjacent to the beach, the Samaya Seminyak has an exclusive Spa and Wellness centre. Spa facilities include Jacuzzis, saunas, and a full range of Balinese and Asian massages including Japanese shiatsu, Thai and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. There is also a large pool in the centre of the grounds with sun loungers, serviced with iced water and complimentary fruit to keep you refreshed and hydrated through the day.

Getting there Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport (17 hours), is served by many international airlines. You can also fly to Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, then travel overland or take a connecting flight to Denpasar. Samaya Seminyak is a 30-minute drive from Denpasar International Airport.
When to go Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – dry (between May to September) and wet (between October to April) – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Bali at its most humid and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods.
