Pullman Kuching - Modern Luxury in the Heart of Borneo

Borneo, Malaysia

Pullman Kuching is a 23-storey five-star hotel, located in central Kuching with panoramic views over Sarawak River. The international Pullman brand promises 'new attitude hotels for business travellers' and this is very much a chain hotel focused on its corporate guests. The hotel is huge, obviously built for large conferences but since it occupies a commanding position near the waterfront, it makes a convenient base for visitors to the Sarawak capital.

Housed within a modern, multi-storey monolith are 389 contemporary and spacious rooms with awe-inspiring views of the Sarawak River or Kuching City. Designed for comfort and accessibility, the hotel provides urban living in the heart of Kuching. The wide range of facilities include at least four dining options offering authentic Chinese, Mediterranean and Western cuisines while the Déjà vu bar & lounge serves a variety of drinks and tapas.

When to go Like the rest of Malaysia, Sarawak's climate is hot and humid. Expect temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s throughout the lowlands. The state’s rainfall averages about 300cm annually and though it rains throughout the year, the heaviest rainfall generally occurs between October and January. At higher elevations the temperature is refreshingly cool, dropping to colder temperatures at night.
