Trashi Yangtse is famous for its traditional handmade paper, known as "De-sho." The Paper Factory offers visitors a chance to learn about the traditional paper-making process, which uses the bark of the Daphne tree. The handmade paper is used for religious texts, artwork, and various handicrafts, making it a unique souvenir to take home.
