ChildCare Children are welcome to stay at the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An. There is a fantastic Chuon Chuon, Kids Club for 4-12-year olds with a good selection of organised games, explorations and activities to keep them entertained. Babysitting service can be arranged, if requested.
Dine The Nam Hai has three unique dining venues. The cool mornings call for the outdoor deck of the Cafe Nam Hai for Eastern or Western breakfast. It also serves dinner, along with lantern-lit Vietnamese restaurant La Sen, where you can try the sweet-juicy suckling pig. During the day, we refuel at the Beach Restaurant, which transforms after nightfall into an extensive menu of Vietnamese delicacies.
Relax The Nam Hai resort has a pristine kilometre-long stretch of beach with excellent water sports and proximity to central Vietnam’s key UNESCO sites. There are three-tiered infinity pools to choose from and 35 hectares of tropical gardens. If you prefer to stay active, complimentary services include power walking, beach tai chi, stability yoga and rice field cycling. Location Four Seasons Resort, the Nam Hai is located on Ha My Beach, beside the South China Sea on the outskirts of the old Hoi An town.
Getting There The major nearby airport for Hoi An is Da Nang International Airport (DAD). There are daily flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and is about one-hour flight. From the airport, it takes about 30 minutes by car to Nam Hai.
When to go The best time to visit Hoi An is between February and June when rainfall is low and the weather is warm. The weather heats up in the months June and July. Affected by monsoon winds, the Hoi An gets continuous rain from September till January, and then remains dry for the rest of the year. If you can, time your visit to Hoi An for the full moon during on the 14th day of the lunar year each month for the Full Moon festivals.
