Bassac Boat comprises of three traditional rice barges, typical to the Mekong Delta. These are beautifully converted into luxury boats, with 6 or 12 wooden cabins, spread out in two or three decks. The twin cabins are elegantly designed with air-conditioning and have ensuite bathrooms. Getting there 15-hour international flight (one change) to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City. Can Tho is approximately a 4-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh.
When to go Hot all year round and December to April is the dry season with occasional rain. May to November is the wet season with showers almost every day and flooding in the Mekong Delta can occur.
