DAY 1

Kathmandu

Start in Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant and historic capital city. Wander through the old town’s narrow streets filled with markets, craftsmen’s workshops and street life. Visit the UNESCO listed Durbar Square and see the ancient temples and palaces. Head to Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath where the prayer flags fly and locals spin prayer wheels. These sacred sites will give you a glimpse into Nepal’s spiritual traditions. Kathmandu’s unique atmosphere, shaped by its hippy era popularity, continues to attract travelers with its laid-back charm. End the day with a traditional Nepalese momos experience or relax in a local café and soak up the city’s energy.

Meals Included: Dinner

DAY 2

Today explore the cultural richness of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Patan, famous for its well preserved Newar architecture and the Patan Museum with sacred art. Then head to Bhaktapur where cobbled streets, carved wooden windows and open courtyards will show you a slower pace of life. After Bhaktapur, you can visit Dhulikhel, known for its scenic beauty, cultural significance, and panoramic mountain views. Watch artisans making pottery or metalwork and observe the daily life of local people as you shop for pashmina shawls, ceramics or thangka paintings. These historic cities are living museums where Nepal’s heritage thrives. End the day with local food and the peaceful charm of the valley.
