YOUR TRIP DESIGN, PACE & FLEXIBILITY: This itinerary is fully private and built around your preferred dates, pace and comfort level. We will advise the most efficient routing to balance heritage touring with realistic travel times, then refine the day-by-day with you. The programme is Yerevan-based with a southern extension and an overnight in Goris; we can slow the pace by adding nights (for example around Lake Sevan) or extend the south to reduce driving and deepen the Tatev/Syunik experience. Road conditions, seasonal access and daylight hours can affect timings, so we build sensible buffers and confirm a practical schedule before services are secured.
PRIVATE GUIDES, DRIVERS & ON-THE-GROUND SUPPORT: This is a high-end private journey: you will have a dedicated vehicle and driver, with professional local guides meeting you for key touring days and site visits. We manage airport meet-and-greet and seamless hotel arrivals, and we coordinate timings so you are met where needed throughout the trip. During travel, we provide proactive support through our local partners and your assigned point of contact, handling practicalities if plans need to flex due to weather, traffic, or operational changes. The itinerary includes the Wings of Tatev cableway; if strong winds affect operations, we will re-sequence the day or offer a suitable alternative.
ACCOMMODATION STANDARDS & MEAL BASIS: We select premium, well-located accommodation to match your brief — typically a high-quality hotel in central Yerevan and the best available option in Goris. Your final itinerary will specify room types and any upgrades, and we will confirm preferences early (bedding, interconnecting rooms, early check-in/late check-out where possible), particularly in peak season. Meal basis varies by property; breakfast is typically included, with other meals arranged according to your preferences. Where you wish, we can recommend and reserve the best restaurants, and we will advise realistically on dietary needs, especially outside Yerevan where choice can be more limited.
FLIGHTS, VISAS, HEALTH & TRAVEL INSURANCE: International flights are optional: we can arrange the trip as land-only, or include flights as part of a flight-inclusive package under our ATOL (where applicable). The tour itself runs overland, starting and finishing in Yerevan. Entry requirements depend on your passport and routing; we will provide clear guidance on what is typically required and when to apply, while you remain responsible for meeting visa and entry rules. Comprehensive travel insurance is essential, including medical cover and disruption. In cooler months, expect variable weather and occasional snow/ice on higher routes; suitable clothing and footwear are important.
COSTING, PAYMENTS, CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Tailor-made pricing is built from live supplier rates (hotels, guides, transport and any flights/permits), so availability and costs can change until bookings are secured. The main price drivers on this tour are seasonality, hotel category in Yerevan, and any added private experiences or upgraded rooms. Some high-demand services — particularly premium hotels — may require an advance payment to secure space; we will confirm exactly what is due and by when before taking payment. Changes after booking can trigger supplier amendment fees or fare differences (especially for flights); we will explain the impact before actioning any changes and provide documentation so you understand terms and deadlines.
