What inspired us to design this Beijing Tibet Tour was the desire to connect two of Asia’s most profound cultural landscapes—China’s imperial legacy and Tibet’s spiritual soul.
Starting in Beijing, we included iconic landmarks such as the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, and the Great Wall, offering a deep dive into the heart of Chinese history. From there, travellers board the legendary Train to Lhasa, crossing the Qinghai Lake and high plateaus for a breathtaking transition into Tibet.
In Lhasa, we curated visits to sacred sites like the Potala Palace, former residence of the Dalai Lama, and important monastic centres including Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. The tour includes a walking tour of local Tibetan markets and concludes with the option to continue to Shigatse and Everest Base Camp, bringing travellers closer to the spiritual and natural wonders that make a Tibet tour truly unforgettable.
