Arrive in Hong Kong and check in to the Upper House, a beautiful hotel designed by Andre Fu. Spend the afternoon in downtown, visiting Hong Kong Park and the Tea Museum at Flagstaff House, the oldest colonial building in the city. In the evening, take the Star Ferry to Kowloon. Dinner is at Aqua, where the floor to ceiling windows frame The Symphony of Lights, the world’s largest permanent light show. Start your day in Hong Kong’s art scene. Visit galleries in Central and along Hollywood Road, famous for contemporary art. Lunch is at a local dim sum restaurant. Today is all about Kowloon’s cultural treasures. Take another Star Ferry ride before visiting Chi Lin Nunnery, a serene Buddhist complex with beautiful gardens and Wong Tai Sin Temple, famous for its fortune telling. Walk through the Flower and Bird Market where the flowers and birdsong will mesmerise you, then browse the jade market for traditional ornaments. End the day at the Hong Kong Heritage Centre to learn about the city’s history through the exhibits. Leave Hong Kong for a 2 hour train ride to Conghua. Upon arrival, a private car will take you to the Imperial Springs Hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing with a spa treatment surrounded by mountains and gardens. In the evening, dine at the Imperial Palace Restaurant, famous for its Chinese cuisine in an elegant setting.
