Immortalised in The Jungle Book, it is home to a thriving population of Bengal tigers. As you explore, your skilled guide will introduce you to Pench’s diverse flora, including thick teak forests and pale white Kulu trees.

SAFARI IN PENCH NATIONAL PARK: Embark on two exhilarating safaris in search of India’s majestic wildlife. At dawn, venture into the wilderness with an experienced tracker. Here, tigers, leopards, and Indian wild dogs roam freely. Midday offers a chance to relax at the lodge before setting off for an afternoon game drive. Witness deer grazing along the riverbanks, spot sloth bears in rocky outcrops, and look to the skies where endangered vultures circle. This expedition guarantees an unforgettable adventure in the heart of India’s tiger country.

MAHARASHTRA’S PREMIER TIGER RESERVE: After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tadoba National Park—Maharashtra’s oldest and largest national park. Spanning 625 km², this vast tiger reserve is home to a thriving population of Bengal tigers and an abundance of other wildlife. The park’s name originates from Taru, a deity worshipped by local tribal communities. Upon arrival, check in at the wilderness lodge, preparing for an exciting wildlife adventure in one of India’s top tiger reserves. Tadoba is dominated by Southern Tropical Dry Deciduous Forest, with teak and bamboo covering much of the landscape. The park boasts over 141 species of trees and plants, providing shelter to an extraordinary array of wildlife. Apart from Bengal tigers, keep an eye out for leopards, sloth bears, Indian wild dogs (Dhole), gaur, and sambar deer. The park is also home to 195 species of birds, including three endangered varieties. A variety of reptiles, such as the Indian python and mugger crocodile, also inhabit these wild lands. Safari Information & Best Time to Visit Tadoba offers both shared and exclusive game drives. Bookings for this holiday should be made at least 4-6 months in advance to enable us to secure the best safari zones. The best months for tiger sightings are March to May, when wildlife gathers around water sources. The cooler winter months, from November to February, offer a comfortable wildlife-watching experience. Tadoba remains closed from July to September due to monsoon rains. Afternoon safaris are unavailable on Wednesdays and major festivals.

SAFARI IN TADOBA NATIONAL PARK: Enjoy two thrilling safaris in search of Tadoba’s famed wildlife. The early morning game drive takes you deep into the reserve, offering incredible chances to witness Bengal tigers, leopards, wild dogs, and the elusive rusty-spotted cat. Later, the afternoon safari takes you to Tadoba Lake, a perennial water source that attracts mugger crocodiles, Indian pythons, and numerous bird species. As night falls, return to your lodge for dinner and reflections on the day’s extraordinary adventures.
