Stay The Four Seasons Resort, Langkawi has 91 villas and pavilions. All the rooms; with balconies or gardens, are located on the beachfront or nearby mountains. The two-storey pavilions are located around a private beach alcove where ground floor rooms offer direct access to the beach while upper floor rooms provide privacy and sea view. And, Beach Villas come with a plunge pool and outdoor Jacuzzi. The two-bedroom residence or Royal Villa are arranged village-style across three pavilions and comes with complimentary Butler Service.
ChildCare Children are welcome to stay at The Four Seasons Resort, Langkawi. Those travelling with children can request for family villa that come with a junior twin bedroom or opt for the more spacious (590sqm) two-bedroom villa. There is a kid’s club and babysitting service can be arranged on request.
Dine There are three restaurants and a bar at the Four Seasons Resort, Langkawi. The Ikan Ikan, designed like a traditional Malaysian home, is the main signature restaurant with multi award-winning food. The Serai serves Mediterranean menu with fresh ingredients while Kelapa Grill is the all-day on the beachside. Meals can be had on a roofed terrace or al fresco patio on the oceanfront. Evening gravitates towards Rhu Bar, the Middle East inspired island lounge for the perfect Pomegranate Mojitos!
Relax The Geo Spa at The Four Seasons Resort, Langkawi has four treatment collections based on four natural energies; Earth, Water, Light and Air. You can also undertake the ‘Elemental Balance’ treatment programme comprising a personalised diagnosis with body treatment and balanced meal. Alternatively, take a class in the Yoga Pavilion. There are two pools. The adult pool is quiet and nice, but it’s the family pool that is really spectacular with little waterfalls, statues etc.

Getting There One can get to Langkawi by plane. Flying time to Langkawi is 55-minutes from Kuala Lumpur airport, 30-minutes from Penang Airport, and 90-minutes from Singapore Changi International Airport. Fast air-conditioned boats are also available from Kuala Perlis (1hr and 15 mins) and Penang (2hr and 45 mins). The Four Seasons Resort, Langkawi is a 15-20 minute car ride from Langkawi International Airport.
When to go The weather in Langkawi is consistently hot and humid all-year-round, with occasional rainfall and cloudy skies. The best time to travel to Langkawi is from mid-November until mid-April, during which time there is very little rain. The mid-season is from mid-April until August when the mornings can be sunny, but the afternoons can be overcast. Langkawi experiences heavy rainfall due to monsoon winds between the months of September and October.
