The Andaman, Langkawi, Malaysia - Asian Geographical Adventures

The Andaman Resort is located along the Datai Bay on Langkawi Island. Built in the ancient rainforest between the mountains and the Andaman Sea, the resort is set in a lush, tropical setting. In its backyard is a verdant forest with exotic bird species and wildlife and to the front, the hyper-blue Andaman Sea. Arriving at the resort’s foyer, you can see the ocean in the distance, while the smells tell that you are submerged in the rainforest.

The Andaman has 170 Deluxe Rooms and Suites set along a scenic bay. All rooms are furnished in a contemporary fashion with wooden floors, spacious seating areas and have fantastic views of the ocean or the jungle. From our balcony, we could see the beach and the rainforest which was interesting. The rainforest room we saw, was surrounded with nature and some fauna: monkeys, squirrels and lizards. Rooms have air-conditioning and large bathrooms have bathtub and separate shower.

There are four unique dining options at The Andaman Resort; the Japanese restaurant, the beach restaurant, the sea food restaurant and there is a Beach Bar. For the beauty cautious, there is an amazing hilltop award-wining spa with five double treatment rooms. Environment is big here, and The Andaman places great emphasis on its preservation. There are opportunities for children to get involved and learn from the wildlife which surround The Andaman.
