The River Resort is a collection of two-storey luxury buildings, located along the west bank of the Mekong, in the charming town of Champasak, Southern Laos. Set in an expansive property, just 3kms north of town, the resort marries modern with traditional, comfort with nature. All the buildings are sleek and contemporary with sharp lines, and white and black exterior, softened by the exquisite landscaping of trees and dense tropical foliage.

Surrounded by landscaped gardens along the Mekong, The River Resort has just 28 stylish villas. All are spacious in size with modern furnishings, spacious bathrooms and wrap around balconies. Inside, you could wake up in bed gazing across the waters to the sunrise. While in the evenings you could see golden light bath the river and trees from ground-to-ceiling glass walls. There are 14 villas facing the waterfront, while the other either overlook the gardens, paddy fields and ponds.

One of the main draws of the property is the glassy infinity pool that boasts the most glorious views over the Mekong River. The open sided restaurant serves wonderful fresh breakfasts, casual lunches and fine dining cuisine in the evenings. Located approximately 30 kilometres from Pakse, the resort is a perfect launch-pad for exploring southern Laos including the famous 4000 islands, Bolaven Plateau and Vat Phou. Other activities include riverboat cruises, kayaking, biking and hiking.
