Cape Weligama Resort is located in the south of Sri Lanka, fronting the Indian Ocean. It’s flanked by two beaches which are mostly deserted and are suitable for swimming, a rarity on the Sri Lankan coast. It also makes for an interesting lookout point to watch the mischievous dolphins who put on a fantastic show in the waters not far, where the largest sea creatures, the humpback and the blue whales, nonchalantly glide past.
Suriyawatta is a beautiful beachfront villa, set on the sultry shores of Weligama, southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. Built onto an elongated piece of land with lush terraced lawns, shaded by ancient flower-laden frangipani trees, blushing bougainvillea and dotted with king coconut palms. Perched above the Weligama lagoon, it is ideally placed near Mirissa Beach, launch pad for the whale and dolphin watching excursions and Unawatuan beach for surfing and the ancient Galle Fort.
