Water Garden Sigiriya is a boutique nature resort, set about 8 km north of Sigiriya in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. These include the nearby Dambulla Cave Temples, one of the island’s holiest shrines. To the northwest is the ancient monastery of Ritigala and Anuradhapura. When to go Sri Lanka is a year-round destination with consistently warm temperatures and lots of sunshine. There are two monsoon seasons but they only bring rain to the west and south-west coasts from May to September; and the east coast and northern region between October and February. The rest of the year is sunny and dry. The central hills remain cooler all year and the only months we'd recommend avoiding are October and November when rainfall is less predictable.
