Surfing Adventure
Known as the surfing mecca of the Philippines, Cloud 9 in Siargao boasts one of the best right-hand breaks globally. Whether you're an expert or a novice, the waves here promise an exhilarating ride. The wooden boardwalk and three-tiered tower offer spectators a perfect vantage point to watch surfers dance with the waves, especially during the annual Siargao Cup Surfing Competition.
Island Hopping
A quintessential Siargao experience, island hopping takes you on a journey through three pristine islands. Naked Island, devoid of any vegetation, showcases pure, undisturbed sand. Daku Island, the largest of the trio, is dotted with coconut trees and local huts, offering an idyllic spot for lunch. Lastly, the tiny Guyam Island, with its perfect blend of sand and greenery, provides a serene getaway.
Blue Lagoon
Blue Lagoon aDuring low tide, nature reveals one of Siargao's gems: the Magpupungko Rock Pools. These natural tidal pools, with their crystal-clear blue waters, are perfect for swimming and cliff jumping. Surrounded by large rock formations, the pools offer a serene setting for relaxation. Nearby, the powerful waves crashing against the rocks create a contrasting spectacle, reminding visitors of the ocean's relentless force.
Sugba Lagoon
Nestled amidst the dense mangrove forest, Sugba Lagoon is a vast expanse of emerald water, perfect for stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling, and diving. One can also climb the wooden diving board built atop the lagoon's limestone formations, offering a panoramic view of the surroundings and an adrenaline-pumping diving experience.
Coconut Palm Forest
Siargao's vast coconut palm forest is one of the largest in the Philippines. Riding through this endless sea of towering palms on a motorcycle or bicycle is an enchanting experience. The cool shade, the rhythmic rustling of leaves, and the occasional sight of locals climbing trees or harvesting coconuts offer a serene connection to nature and local life.
TakTak Waterfall
Located in the northern part of Siargao, the TakTak Waterfall is the island's only waterfall. A short trek leads to this oasis where water cascades into a refreshing pool. Surrounded by lush greenery and echoing the sounds of nature, TakTak offers a rejuvenating escape. Take a refreshing dip, enjoy a picnic, or simply relax to the symphony of falling water and chirping birds.
