Arrive in Manila, the Philippines’ bustling capital, where your guide will meet you. You’ll be transferred to your hotel to check in and rest. The rest of the day is free. Manila is a mix of city and island, a soft start to your adventure. Walk the local streets, enjoy the atmosphere or simply chill at the hotel as you prepare for the diverse landscapes and cultures to come.
Travel to Laguna Province for a full day trip to Pagsanjan. Along the way visit the Underground Cemetery in Nagcarlan, once used by Spanish friars and nobility. At the riverside resort, hop into a dugout canoe with local boatmen. Paddle upstream through the forest to Pagsanjan Falls, navigating rapids along the way. It’s a fun and scenic ride. Back in Manila in the evening to rest at the hotel and reflect on the day’s cultural and natural highlights.
Take an early flight to Basco on Batan Island, part of the peaceful and beautiful Batanes archipelago. Check in to your hotel then head out to explore the north of the island. Visit the Tukon Radar Station, Valugan Boulder Beach with its dramatic shoreline, Naidi Hills and Vayang Ranch’s rolling pastures. Each stop showcases the raw beauty and heritage of Batanes, a great introduction to the island’s culture and landscapes.
Start with a drive to San Vicente port for a boat ride to Sabtang Island. Visit the Savidug Vernacular houses, traditional stone homes surrounded by greenery. Visit the Savidug Ruins and then to the remote village of Chavayan, famous for its woven Ivatan crafts. Relax at Nakabuang Beach, famous for its natural stone arch and chill vibe. After a full day of discovery, back to Batan Island and rest at the hotel.
More of Batan Island today. Drive along the southern coast. Stop at Chawa View Deck for the views. In Mahatao town visit the Spanish era church, the lighthouse and the Breateria. Step into the UNESCO-recognised House of Dakay, one of the oldest houses in the island. Pause at the Honesty Coffee Shop where no staff are present—just pay what you owe. End the day at the Ruins of Song Song and the green hills of “Marlboro Country”. Back to the hotel full of inspiration.
Today is free time in Batanes. Choose to rent a bicycle and ride through the villages, take photos of the viewpoints, or walk to nearby spots. You can spend time with the locals, learn about their traditions or simply chill and enjoy the island’s natural beauty. With no schedule, it’s the perfect day to follow your interests whether that means solitude in nature or engaging with the culture that makes Batanes special.
After breakfast, fly back to Manila then drive to Pampanga. Known for its food and cultural heritage, this province is quieter and charming. Once you arrive, check in to your hotel and the rest of the day is yours. Whether you decide to explore the nearby areas or just chill, Pampanga invites you to discover its culinary delights and local history at your own pace.
Rise early for a scenic trip to Mt. Pinatubo, once known for its dramatic eruption. Now it’s a peaceful destination for trekkers. Start with a 4x4 ride across lahar-covered valleys then walk along a gentle trail. The landscape becomes more dramatic as you approach the crater. At the summit you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of the turquoise Crater Lake. After some time to relax and take in the views, back to Pampanga for a well-deserved rest.
Fly to El Nido in northern Palawan today. Known for its limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters and edible bird’s nests, it’s one of the Philippines’ most beautiful destinations.
